I wanted to preserve the texture on the printed warp and decided to use as weft the linen paper. It is beautiful, the feel and transparency of the weft. The pattern is hucklace. I wonder if the fabric will be too stiff for a top. Love the look of it.

Garments from my woven fabric
Here are the two garments for which I wove the fabric.
Total different ballgame then my usual work and I have to confess I didn't know what I was doing.
I didn't think it thru well enough as it needed it. So here are the results in my amateur way. I am pleased that I tried it. I learn more then if it would have gone smoothly. Can't wait to weave some more to use my new learned skills.

Finish woven fabric
I used a warp from flax, linen, cotton and natural silk.
As weft I used an urn leached linen.
It is woven in plain weave with a very open structure.
I wonder how it will be after I wash it tomorrow.
