Halloween Shawl

I wanted to weave another stick weaving with strong colors and fell in love with these color blocks. But guess what? They did not work with the sticks. I wove first a few inches with a black warp and realized, it was too strong. By the way the blue is actually purple. The colors in the weft are kind of saturated. So I found some of my hand spun grey bamboo which softens the colors down and gives it a bit of irregularity thru the home spun.
It does remind me of Halloween every time I look and work on it. Oh well, maybe the proper thing to weave in later part of October.
